Interests: Well, school just about takes over my life, but I really like it. I'm majoring in Speech-Language Pathology and minoring in American Sign Language, so of course that interests me. When I'm not going to school, I like to hang out with my friends...especially my boyfriend, Thomas. I enjoy a good book and going to the movies, whatever. I go to the Salvation Army here in Tampa, and I am so thankful that God brought me here.

I had such a good weekend!  Very busy and tiring, but I had a really good time.  Thomas started his route for picking up kettles...and maybe it's weird, but I like going with him.  So we did that Friday and Saturday...I FINALLY got my thesis started.  I think that was all I needed, was to get started.  Sometimes that is the hardest part, because now it seems to be flowing very smoothly.  Then I did the American Heart Walk with some friends from school, which was so cool to be a part of something so big.  It was such nice weather and we were out on Bayshore by the water, so it was a nice way to start my morning!  Then we went over to Heather and Kim's for game night, which I had been looking forward to for the past week.  It was so much fun...games are so much fun! We definately need to do that more often...it was so nice to see everybody that I never get to see and also to meet Lola.    And then to wrap up the weekend, we got to see MAE!  We rode over to Orlando with Chris and Angela, and it was such an amazing concert.  They are so good, and if you haven't listened to them, you definately need to check them out.  www.myspace.com/mae

Now I'm at school...revising my paper.  Back to reality....hope everyone has a great week!

So I took the GRE today, which it is so nice now to have that burden lifted off of my shoulders.  My score was pretty good, so hopefully I won't need to spend more money taking it again.  It's crazy...grad school is in the near future...I have to apply soon.  I'm not going to FYI this weekend, so that I can study for yet another test next week.  Anyway, I'm just so excited that the GRE is one thing I don't have to worry about anymore!

So today I had my first big exam in neuroanatomy, and I studyed so hard for it...and it was still so hard!  I thought studying for a test made it easier.  And now I have two more exams coming up this next week...so it looks as though studying will be my life forever!  That's how I feel...this year is just very stressful about getting into grad school and making the right grades...etc.  Oh well, it'll all be worth it in the end!  But the way I make it sound, you would think I hate school, but I don't...I love it, I'm a nerd.

Me, Thomas, Chris, and Shelley went to the USF game on Saturday, which was amazing...that's what this picture is from.  The game was so good, because no one expected them to win, and they beat Louisville! Now this week they are playing Miami.  We shall see.....

So yesterday Thomas and I celebrated our four year anniversary!  I was very excited, even though it was a rough day of school from 9-5.  So we went to IHOP, which if anyone doesn't know, is where we went on our first date, so we go back once a year in honor of the 22nd.  And we saw Just Like Heaven, which was so incredible cute!  It is so crazy to think about being together for 4 years...I mean, we were 16, and now we're down here in Tampa.  It's just funny how things work out...bc if you had asked me in 5th grade if I would be dating Thomas when we were older, I would have said you were crazy.  Oh the memories...

Other than that, I am just so bogged down with school, so it's keeping me busy.  I love it, and I love the thought of what I am working toward becoming, but somedays it is hard to get through.  I just don't need to stress about it.  I am taking the GRE test to get into grad school in about a month, so I am praying it will be a one time thing, and I will get the grade I need.  And I have to start applying to schools, even though hopefully I will stay at USF.  I am really glad I came to USF, because when I moved down here, I had no idea how I would like it.  But it was definately the right decision, and I thank God everyday that he has taken care of me.  Ok, well, I will end this, I guess.  Everyone have a great day...maybe I'll update in another couple of months.

Today has been good....went out with a friend from high school that goes to school in Mobile.  It's nice to get together with people you never see.  And now I'm going to go out with my best friend tonight....good times.  Me and my family are going on a mini vacation for the weekend out in the boat, so at least I will finally have a tan.  I had mom-daughter time last night, which is always nice.  Anyway, my week has gone by way faster than I expected...and my friends are getting married tomorrow.  Busy week, yet relaxing at the same time.  Hope you all are having wonderful weeks! BTW:  this Nicholas Sparks book that I just finished was absolutely amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone.
